We are incredibly humbled to announce that The Confectionery Cottage has decided to donate 10% of their sales, to us, for the foreseeable future!

Owner, Amanda Bouzan, tells us " I am a home baker from a very young age. I love to give love through food, and I hope you are able to feel that in my treats! We are a new company with hopes of growing in our community!"

Amanda also told us that her daughter is autistic, and she loves spreading awareness and creating opportunities for her daughter and others on the autism spectrum.

Amanda worked all summer long and officially opened her very own Cottage Bakery! There are delicious weekly specials! The Confectionery Cottage is open daily at 12PM but you can always send a message to Amanda to be sure!

The Cottage is located at 186 Forest Street, Bridgewater, MA! 10% of all proceeds go to Community Autism Resources. The Cottage runs on an honor system. Forms of payment accepted are Cash, Venmo, CashApp, and Square.

*Please Note* Amanda is not always there to make change if you chose to pay with cash.

Thank you to everyone who has already stopped by and purchased some delicious treats!

Amanda, we wish you all good things for The Cottage! We are so grateful that you have chosen us as the benefactor when looking to give back to the community! We are enjoying your delicious treats and we look forward to this incredibly thoughtful partnership!

Norton Police Department Patches

On 10/10/24 we were so grateful to announce that the Norton Police Department made a $440 donation to Community Autism Resources, from the sales of their "Patch Project"!

Ahead of World Autism Awareness Day, (April 2, 2024), the Norton Police Department repeated their autism police patch project, previously held in 2022. The winning design, (pictured on the right), was chosen from over 50 creative submissions. It was turned into a limited-edition patch and sold to the public. 100% of the sales were donated.

Their focus in 2024 was “Autism Acceptance” - the recognition of the diversity and individuality of people on the autism spectrum. The goal of this program is to promote acceptance and inclusion. The Norton Police Department put out a call to action for everyone to submit their artwork by March 22nd with the winning design being announced on April 2nd, (pictured on the left).

Both patches are still available for $10 each, at Community Autism Resources & The Norton Police Department!

To purchase patches at CAR, please contact Crystal Medeiros, CMedeiros@community-autism-resources.com

To purchase patches at the Norton Police Department, please contact, Detective David Ruskey, ruskey@nortonpolice.com

Many thanks to Detective Ruskey & the Norton Police Department for your support & commitment to our community, and to everyone who has purchased patches! We are so grateful!

    • First Responder Groups across the country have been designing awareness patches to help raise money for local non-profits. We have been fortunate, over the past few years, to have 4 of our local Police Departments choose Community Autism Resources as their non-profit of choice to benefit from their autism awareness patch fundraisers. If you are a First Responder or know a First Responder looking for a worthy cause to support this year with their awareness patches, please consider Community Autism Resources.
